Your skin is a mirror of whats going on inside your body!

1.Water

Our bodies are made up with approximately 65 % water. Water is needed for our cells to be fully hydrated and working to there best potential. Water will help flush out any toxins, keeping your skin looking fresh.

2. Cleansing

One of the most basic elements in a skin care routine but essential for skin health is cleansing. Cleansing twice a day will remove any oil/dirt/makeup trapped in your pores. All cleansers are different, so choosing one that suits your skin type is important.

3. Sun Protection

Sunscreen will help protect your skin from skin cancer along with photo damage caused from the UV rays. UV can cause sun spots, pigmentation and your skin to age sooner.

4. Moisturising

Moisturisers are important as they boost the hydration in your skin and protect your skin from looking dull and drying out. They are important for every skin type to protect the skin’s barrier. Your skin will feel softer and more supple.

5. Antioxidants

Antioxidants are so beneficial to the skin. Its like giving your skin a bowl of veggies to eat. They help reduce the signs of ageing, revealing a more youthful appearance and brightening your skin’s complexion. Some of the stand out antioxidants are vitamin c, vitamin e, vitamin a and resveratrol.

    1. Hi Melissa, I tend to find that in Australia our sun is very harsh. I would recommend at a minimum 30+, so I would apply a sunscreen over the top of your moisturiser.
      Thanks Sonia
